For years, I believed belonging required sameness. Life taught me something different. The strongest relationships and healthiest teams are not built on perfect agreement, but on respect, trust, and the safety to bring our full selves into the room.

For years, hiding felt like protection. What I eventually learned was that the cost of hiding extends far beyond the thing we're trying to conceal. It affects our relationships, our sense of belonging, and the energy we have available to fully engage in life and work.
